A team of parishioners provide support for the family during a funeral liturgy. They can function as readers, eucharistic ministers and altar servers.

The Bereavement Committee assists with planning and hosting receptions after funerals in the parish hall.

St. Mary’s Our Lady of the Lake owns and operates a Catholic Cemetery, Route 28, (south of the village of Cooperstown) Index, New York.  Our cemetery sexton is Kitty Dykstra: (607) 547-2213 x3.

Please note that Funeral Masses are not permitted during the Sacred Triduum: Holy Thursday, Good Friday, or Holy Saturday, nor on solemnities that are holy days of obligation.
