Youth I’nC is St Mary’s Youth Group for 7-12th graders.
Youth I’nC stands for Youth Involved and Catholic.

The group’s mission statement is from Jeremiah 1:7-8 –

say not I am too young.  To whomever I send you, you shall go. Whatever I command you, you shall speak.  Have no fear before them, because I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord.

Even though the group is made up of youth, they realize that they can and should put their faith into action and become doers of God’s word.  They are being the hands and feet of Jesus here in our community (our logo is feet w/ Involved and Catholic written in the feet).  In their Faith Formation classes they learn what Jesus and our Catholic faith teach us about taking care of each other – feed the poor, tend to the sick and lonely.  In Youth I’nC these youths are carrying out these messages – they pick apples for the Food Bank, they rake leaves for the elderly, they raise money for other local causes, etc.

There is also a social aspect with the group as it gives the kids a chance to just hang out and have fun with other kids who are living the Catholic faith during pizza get togethers, movie nights, etc.
